Customer Review: No Leaks, No Drips, No Stuck Lid - Just Perfect!

I had a simple but working syrup pitcher which I stupidly broke by running hot water over it just out of the fridge. I then began a purchasing frenzy of some of the poorest quality dispensers imaginable. Some dripped horribly; others leaked when tilted, and most did both. The lids broke, and syrup would find its way in between the glass and the lids causing the lids to stick making them incredibly difficult to remove and clean. They all had plastic lids or those fake chrome lids - my old dispenser had a plastic lid but it never leaked or dripped. Finally I found this one... and thank goodness!
No drips, no leaks. The top is stainless steel, with a rubber gasket between it and the glass - and came with a spare gasket! No more syrup clogging the lid! The design is sleek, simple, and very well thought out. The glass pitcher has a nice heft to it, not thin and fragile.
The capacity might be a bit smaller than some, but if you look at the image included, note that the glass actually goes up to the top of the lid. When I first pulled this out of the box I was dissapointed with the size until I realized this fact.
If you want a syrup or honey dispenser that works beautifully, I'm sure you'll be happy with this one - we are!

With a heavy glass bottom and a handsome satin-finish 18/10 stainless-steel top, this syrup/honey dispenser has a quality feel. Pressing a thumb on its stout spring-loaded lever opens the spout. The dispenser holds about 1 cup, stands 5-1/2 inches high, has a plastic gasket beneath the top for a tight seal, and (except for the gasket) is dishwasher-safe.
