I prefer this type of can opener, but I hesitated buying this one because it costs more than I wanted to pay. I told myself, "why spend so much when you can get one for under $10 at ******* or some other similar place?". I am so glad I did finally order it. This is the easiest hand-held can opener I have ever used. It is simple to engage and turn, and it slices through the metal lids with ease. I appreciate that it is stainless steel, so there should be no problem with it rusting. It's dishwasher safe too. In addition, it is so attractive that I can show it off, hanging it on the pot rack with other equipment.
