I thought that when I purchased a WMF meat pounder that I was getting the
very best quality until I was pounding some chicken breasts and the handle
broke off. When I took it apart I noticed the inside the square pounder
it was filled in with a ceramic substance which couldn't take the prssure
of pounding and caused it to crack and the handle let go. Now I will try
to contact WMF Quality Control to see if they will make good and replace it.
